Book of Lost Things review

Standard

Vacation! Love having the time to read!  If you or your student enjoyed The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Selznick, try The Book of Lost Things by Cynthia Voigt. Nineteenth century setting, adventures of 12-year old actor trying on different roles to solve various mysteries not the least of which is figuring out if his parents are lost, kidnapped, or intentionally abandoned him. Terrific storyline for the more sophisticated intermediate reader.
